Not only has it been a very long time since I last blogged, Savannah and I have also gone through MANY changes!
Savannah was virtually starved at my old barn, she had been locked in the barn with no food and barely any water, and within a week, she was close to death. I had no idea this was happening because I only went to the barn on weekends. This happened in one week. The next weekend that I saw Savannah, I had my friend Lea, and her mom out to see what Savannah had become. Mrs. Henze told me I had to get Savannah food and fast. My friend Sarah also came out to the barn that same day and she also boarded her horse, Mosaic, there. So, Sarah and her mom got in touch with their friends, and that day, we moved Mosaic and Savannah to a new barn.
Ever since then, Savannah has gained pretty much all of her weight back and she is slowly and surely getting her muscle back to :) but, the best part of all, is that we've been working HARD in Parelli! We've started working on so many new things! And stick to me is Savannah's favorite thing to do right now! We've also been working on point to point(I believe that's what it's called) with a ton of cones and we've mastered going sideways against a wall, with a rider and without a rider. We're now working on some sideways towards and some sideways across the middle of the arena with no wall or anything. :) She's doing so well! She's coming along so well! I promise I'll get some pictures on here soon! Until then! Savvy on!
